In September 2019, we announced that Pulver Cooper & Blackley (PCB) had amalgamated with Barker Ryan Stewart (BRS).
We wanted to provide an update that from 1 July 2020 onwards, PCB will be rebranded as Barker Ryan Stewart and both teams will be fully integrated to form one.
Founded in 1930, PCB has a long and established history and is one of the larger providers of surveying, subdivision (planning, surveying, civil engineering and project management) and Hunter Water design and certification services in the Hunter region.
Now forming part of Barker Ryan Stewart, the PCB team will also move from their existing East Maitland office into our Beresfield office.
Why have we decided to rebrand?
Over the past eight months, both BRS and PCB have been operating independently but working collaboratively to significantly increase the capacity and capabilities of both companies.
Barker Ryan Stewart’s Managing Director Glenn Barker said “Whilst BRS and PCB previously operated independently, we have decided that taking the best efficiencies from each company and amalgamating these processes will improve our overall service offerings”.
“It makes sense for BRS to rely upon PCB’s vast surveying experience and well-established history. Joining forces as one team will allow us to continue to provide our full range of civil engineering and infrastructure, town planning, surveying, traffic engineering and transport planning, subdivision and strata certification and RMS verification services”.
What does this mean for our clients?
Aside from the rebranding of PCB, merging the company with Barker Ryan Stewart will help to provide a wider range of services and faster turnaround times to our clients.
Glenn Barker said “We continually strive to improve what we do in terms of service for our clients and improving the efficiency of how to do things internally, while at the same time maintaining our company culture which is really important to us”.
“Our combined team is driven by our shared understanding that everything we do personally and professionally has an impact on the communities in which we live and work”.
“We are excited to be able to build upon PCB’s renowned reputation and through the collaboration of our combined team, we can continue to successfully deliver your projects”.
